Notts County have re-signed striker Danny Crow on loan from Peterborough.

Crow's previous stay in October ended less than an hour into his first game when he broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot against Bury.

Assistant boss Dave Kevan: "It could give him a new lease of life. He's a good finisher and he sees this as an opportunity to kick-start his career."

Crow, 22, has been named in the squad for Saturday's trip to Chester, subject to clearance from the Football League.

The former Norwich City player scored 17 goals for Peterborough in 2005 and was regarded as one of the hottest properties in League Two.

But he has since fallen out favour and has failed to break back into Peterborough's promotion-chasing line-up after recovering from his foot injury.
