MacKenzie joined County in the summer after leaving Scunthorpe | Notts County midfielder Neil MacKenzie has flown to Germany, accompanied by club physio John Haselden, to have a hernia operation in Munich. He has been playing through the pain barrier for a while, but could be playing again within a fortnight. "It will be good to get the injury cleared up," Magpies manager Ian McParland told the club website. "To have him back for Lincoln (on 24 November) would be fantastic, but the main thing is getting it sorted."
