Notts County have made their sixth summer signing by luring striker Spencer Weir-Daley across the Trent. Weir-Daley, 21, turned down a new contract offer from rivals Nottingham Forest to sign a two-year contract.
Weir-Daley spent much of last season out on loan at Macclesfield, Lincoln and Bradford and Bantams boss Stuart McCall was eager to sign the striker.
McCall said: "I am very disappointed. We agreed terms but he didn't want to move away from the Midlands."
