Defender Chris Gunter has signed a new Nottingham Forest contract to keep him at the club until 2014.
The Wales international first joined Forest on loan in March 2009, before a permanent switch four months later.
Gunter, 21, said: "I'm pleased to have signed a new deal. My time here has gone as well as I could have expected.
"The education I got at Tottenham was invaluable but I felt I needed to apply that in games, which is what I hope I've done at Forest."
Gunter, who has been capped 25 times by his country, has made 11 appearances for the Reds this season.
"I felt I had a really good first full season at Forest," he added.
"The aim now is to improve because no-one really cares about what has happened in the past."
