Commons joined Forest from Stoke three years ago for 300,000 | Nottingham Forest winger Kris Commons has pledged his immediate future to the club by signing a one-year deal. The 23-year-old was out of contract at the City Ground and had been offered a new contract by the League One side. Commons had the chance to sign for three years but decided not to commit himself for that length of time. He had been mulling over a decision since Forest lost in the play-offs to Yeovil in May and had been expected to announce his plans on 29 June.
