Agogo could make his Forest debut against Chesterfield on Saturday |
Nottingham Forest have finally completed the signing of Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo. The 27-year-old Ghanaian has signed a three-year deal at the City Ground after joining for an undisclosed fee.
"I've been brought here to score goals and hopefully I can do just that. I've got no qualms about making the step up from League Two," said Agogo.
Agogo scored 45 goals in a three-year spell in Bristol after previously playing for both QPR and Barnet.
He added: "I'm joining a massive club and I can't express how happy I am to be here.
"I'm hoping I can do the business while I'm here and the club and myself can go forward.
"Forest have made a great start to the season and there's no reason why we shouldn't be in the Championship next season.
"Who knows where we can go from there?"
Forest had been chasing Agogo for three weeks after an opening day injury to striker Nathan Tyson, which will see him miss four months of the season.
