Nottingham Forest boss Gary Megson has further strengthened his squad with the capture of Rochdale striker Grant Holt, reports BBC Radio Nottingham. The 24-year-old has been in prolific form for Dale this season with 15 goals and he has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at The City Ground.
Holt has signed for �300,000 and becomes the second player to sign for Forest this week after Julian Bennett.
He is set to make his debut at home to Oldham in League One on Saturday.
In total, Holt scored 43 times in 83 games for Dale following his arrival from Sheffield Wednesday in January, 2004.
