Forest manager Gary Megson believes James Perch has the credentials to become a top-class midfielder. "He can run all day, he's quick, can get forward and pass it well, controls it well and heads it," Megson told the Evening Post newspaper.
Perch, 19, signed a new two-and-a-half year contract earlier this month to keep him at the City Ground until 2007.
"I never imagined I would be starting as many games as I have done," added the youngster.
