Commons is back at Forest after leaving at the age of 10 |
Midfielder Kris Commons has completed his anticipated move from Stoke to Nottingham Forest. The 20-year-old has signed a three-year contract, and the transfer fee will be decided by a tribunal.
"I used to watch Forest as a kid and was on the club's books for a while," Commons told Forest's website.
"I left because there were one or two things I didn't think were right for me at the time, but a lot has changed and I'm delighted to be back."
He added: "I was a regular in the Stoke side last season, but I know I can't just expect to walk straight into the Forest team.
"It's up to me to work hard for a chance and when that comes along, I'll look to make the most of it."
Commons recently rejected Stoke's offer of a new contract at the Britannia Stadium.
