The Trinidad & Tobago striker is currently discussing personal terms with the St Andrew's outfit. John is out of contract at the end of the season and cash-strapped Forest are keen to sell the player for a fee before he becomes a free agent. Leicester and Crystal Palace have previously both failed to sign Nottingham Forest him on loan. Palace boss Trevor Francis reportedly made his loan offer after failing with a reported �150,000 bid for the forward.
