Maric will be looking to impress Gunn further on Saturday

Norwich City manager Bryan Gunn has praised trailist Goran Maric after he scored the only goal of the game against St Johnstone.

The 25-year-old striker signed for Celta Vigo in 2007 before being released on loan to FC Barcelona B.

"He's putting in the kind of performances that make him tempting," said Gunn.

The 6ft striker will hope to show more potential in the Canaries next game against Airdrie United on Saturday.

The Serbian has been released by Celta Vigo and has also had a trial spell at Crystal Palace.

The Canaries have now won the first two games of their pre-season tour of Scotland.
