Norwich City midfielder Simon Lappin has signed a new two-year contract at Carrow Road.
The 26-year-old Scot was frozen out of the first team last season while Glenn Roeder was manager.
He forced his way into current manager Bryan Gunn's plans in March and should feature for them in League One.
Gunn told the club's official website: "I know Simon was a little frustrated last season but he has a tremendous attitude and he's a real credit."
