Clark has been reserve-team boss at Newcastle |
Newcastle United coach Lee Clark has agreed to join Norwich City as assistant manager on a two-and-a-half-year contract. Clark, 35, had two spells as a player at Newcastle.
Former Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder, who recently took over as Norwich boss, had brought him into the Premier League club's coaching set-up in 2006.
"When he asked me to join him, it was a decision I couldn't turn down," Clark told Norwich's website.

"To prise me from a club I love - in that respect it was a tough decision. "But to come and work alongside someone like Glenn again was the perfect opportunity, and to be given the role of assistant manager means he's shown a lot of faith in me."
He will be alongside Roeder in the dug-out for Sunday's East Anglia derby against Ipswich.
