Norwich boss Peter Grant has decided not to offer Cameroon defender Lucien Mettomo a contract, because of concerns about his fitness. The 30-year-old former Manchester City man is a free agent, and has been training with Norwich following his release by Swiss side FC Lucerne.
"He's a week or two away from fitness as he's not played any games," Grant told the Canaries' website.
"I can't afford to bring in another guy who won't be able to play."
However, he could return to Carrow Road for a longer trial period.
