Norwich City defender Jason Shackell has signed a two-year extension to his contract at Carrow Road. Shackell, 22, had a year left to run on his current deal but will now remain at the Championship side until 2009.
Canaries boss Nigel Worthington told the club's website: "He's come up through the Academy ranks and is a young player with great potential."
Shackell, who spent five months out injured last season, has made 38 first-team appearances for City.
