Norwich have signed Wales midfielder Carl Robinson from Sunderland in a two-and-a-half year deal. The 29-year-old had been on loan at Carrow Road since November and joins for a fee of around 50,000.
Robinson is sidelined with a rib injury he picked up against Preston earlier this month but Canaries boss Nigel Worthington is happy to seal the deal.
"I'm delighted to strengthen the squad by signing him up for the long-term," Worthington told the club website.
Robinson, who has also been on the books at Wolves and Portsmouth, is also pleased to make a permanent switch to Carrow Road.
"I'm delighted to be here now on a full-time basis," said Robinson.
"I have enjoyed my spell here so far, even though it's been cut short by injury."
Robinson's injury could keep him out for four to eight weeks, threatening his chances of playing for Wales in their friendly against Paraguay in Cardiff on 1 March.
