Norwich City have given academy goalkeeper Joe Lewis a professional contract which will keep him at Carrow Road until June 2007. Lewis, 17, first came to prominence when was he was named as a substitute for the Division One match against Crystal Palace when he was just 15.
"I'm delighted. I have been working hard and I have been at the club since I was eight," he told the club website.
"It's a dream come true to play for the club I supported as a lad."
