Canaries confess to luck
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington admitted his side were helped by the referee as Phil Mulryne's freak goal earned the Canaries a 1-0 win away at Reading.

"The incident's unfortunate but it wasn't intentional, I have to admit the referee's done well for us," he said.

"This was a massive three points because Reading are a good side with good players. They had the better of the first half and really stretched us.

"I'm pleased with this win because Steve Coppell always has good teams."
