Northwich Victoria general manager Dave Thomas has announced that Steve Davis has taken over as manager. Davis, who has been with the Vics for the last three seasons in a playing and coaching capacity, takes over from Jimmy Quinn who has joined Shrewsbury.
The 36-year-old central defender started his playing career at Crewe where he made nearly 150 appearances.
He also appeared for Barnsley in the Premiership and had spells at Burnley, York and Oxford.
