Northampton boss John Gorman has made winger Sam Aiston and left-back Andy Holt his first signings since taking charge of the Cobblers. The duo have agreed two-year deals at the Sixfields Stadium.
Aiston, 29, was released by Tranmere at the end of last season, while Holt, 28, was available after ending a two-year stay at Wrexham.
Meanwhile, David Hunt, Eoin Jess and veteran midfielder Ian Taylor have all agreed new deals to stay at Sixfields.
