Northampton have denied receiving any approach from Nottingham Forest for manager Colin Calderwood. Forest are keen to fill the vacant post at the City Ground and Calderwood has emerged as one of the favourites.
Cobblers' general manager Tony Clarke told the Evening Post: "There has been no approach from Forest.
"Colin is under contract and there is a compensation clause in that contract. Were any club to speak to him they would have to speak to us first."
