Northampton chairman David Cardoza hopes plans to redevelop the club's Sixfields Stadium will this week get the go-ahead from the council. Cardoza said: "We've had some good meetings. We hope to have something definitive in the next week.
"It probably won't be a date that we can start work as such, but it will hopefully be a case of being awarded planning permission.
"It's all very positive," Cardoza told the Nortampton Chronicle.
