Northampton boss Colin Calderwood has rewarded teenage midfielder Ryan Gilligan with a professional contract. Gilligan, 18, has earned a deal until the end of the season after scoring twice in 11 games.
Calderwood told Cobblers' website: "Ryan has come in and contributed greatly. He has got an outstanding chance of having a good career."
Gilligan joined from Watford in the summer with Northampton taking over the final year of his scholarship.
