Newport County have signed Dagenham & Redbridge winger Graeme Montgomery on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has made just three league appearances this season.

"We've been tracking him for some time and after two or three conversations have managed to secure his services," said boss Dean Holdsworth.

"He has been giving great accounts of himself this season and we are all really excited at the prospect of having him in the side."

Montgomery follows the arrivals of midfielder Mike Fowler, left-back or left midfielder Curtis McDonald and veteran defender Wayne Hatswell.

Meanwhile, striker John Challinor, midfielder Christian Smith and winger Kerry Morgan have all left the club.
