Mid-Table Ryman Premier side Wealdstone held Blue Square Bet Premier promotion hopefuls Newport County to a goalless FA Trophy first round draw.

Wealdstone's Welsh goalkeeper Jonathan North kept rampant County out with a string of fine saves - the pick of them from on-loan striker Ben Wright.

Wright latched onto Craig Reid's cross but North tipped his effort over.

Sam Foley also went close for County but Wealdstone earned a Monday replay - and Alex Dyer almost won it for them.
