Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan is looking for midfielder Joey Barton to focus on playing football after his return to action against Arsenal on Tuesday. Barton's off-the-field exploits have impacted on his Newcastle career and Keegan believes it is time for the 25-year-old to knuckle down.
He told BBC Radio Newcastle: "He's got to let his football do the talking.
"He can be a very important player for us but he can only be important if he conducts himself properly."
