Newcastle's veteran goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek will remain at Newcastle until the end of the season. The 38-year-old, who played at St James' Park between 1991 and 1998, initially joined the Magpies on a three-month deal in September.
Srnicek has since appeared twice for the club, covering for injured trio Shay Given, Steve Harper and Tim Krul.
"We have agreed that I will stay until the summer, then we will see," confirmed Srnicek.
