McGhee said his side were due some luck against the Old Firm
Motherwell manager Mark McGhee said he was delighted after watching his 10-man side defeat SPL champions Celtic.
"We scored our goal against the run of play and we started the game poorly. No-one seemed to know who was picking up who in midfield," he told BBC Sport.
"It looked like it was a matter of time before Celtic scored, but then we scored and it was a bonus.
"They threw a lot at us in the second half but even with 10 men I thought we looked fairly solid."

McGhee said he had told his players they would enjoy a change of luck and beat the Old Firm at some stage of the season.
"We haven't done badly against them. Today I thought we were maybe a little bit fortunate to get all three points," he said.
