Motherwell have signed 20-year-old goalkeeper Luke Daniels from West Brom on loan for the rest of the season. He will be back-up to Graeme Smith and could be on the bench for Saturday's Scottish Premier League visit by Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Daniels came through the youth ranks with Manchester United before moving to West Brom in 2005.
He told Well's website: "I've come up to battle with Graeme Smith for the number one shirt."
Daniels did not rule out a permanent move should his spell at Fir Park prove successful.

"Hopefully I'll get some good experience and we'll see where I go from there," he said.
"It's really good for me to join a club that is flying high with such a good manager and a good set-up which allows younger players their chance to shine.
"It's a good standard of football in Scotland, particularly the SPL, so it should be good for my development."
