Motherwell boss Maurice Malpas was full of praise for his players after bouncing back from last week's hammering from Hibs to beat Falkirk. He said: "It was a great win for us after last week's escapades. It was a great reaction from the players. "I was a bit concerned when Falkirk scored with their first attack - I thought it was going to be a case of 'deja vu' - but the players dug in. "I would have taken any victory today and have to be happy with that win."
