Paul Mullin relishes Accrington clash on Boxing Day
Mullin has scored six goals since joining Morecambe in August
Morecambe striker Paul Mullin has said he cannot wait for the derby with former club Accrington on Boxing Day.
The 35-year-old, who joined the Shrimps in August, made over 270 appearances for Accrington during an eight year spell at the Crown Ground.
"When I signed it was the first game I looked for and it's been at the back of my mind for a few weeks," Mullin told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"Both us and Accrington are on a good run so it should be a cracking game."
Paul's brother John is currently on the books at Accrington having joined the League Two club in August 2008.

He admits the build-up to Saturday's game will have an extra special meaning.
"John's coming round for Christmas dinner so I'm sure there'll be plenty of chatter about it round the table," said Mullin.
"I was at Accrington for a long time and you can't help but have an affinity with the club. But I play for Morecambe now and I want us to win on Boxing Day.
"Both teams like to play football the right way and the two lads up front for them [Michael Symes and Bobby Grant] have done great this season.
"One thing that Accrington are is that they are a very fit side so we'll have to match them in the hardwork stakes. If we can do that and play our own game we've got a great chance."
