Morecambe midfielder Carl Baker has promised fans he will become an even better player next season.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Shrimps from Southport last summer, has scored 11 goals during his debut season in League Two.
"Hopefully next season I'll come back stronger because I'm still learning," Baker told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"I was speaking to Accrington's Ian Craney and he said it took him 12 months to get used to it."
Baker also revealed that Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has been trying to develop his all-round game.
"I've been speaking to the gaffer every week and he's telling me I've got to pass the ball quicker," added Baker.
"You can get away with it in the Conference but not in this league.
"I've loved every minute of it. The last couple of months have been very hard for me but I'm still enjoying being involved."
