Goalkeeper Joe Lewis will leave Morecambe and return to Norwich at the end of the month. Lewis, 20, has been on loan with the League Two club and Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy was keen to keep him for the rest of the season.
But Norwich manager Glenn Roeder wants Lewis back at Carrow Road.
"Norwich have had a couple of injuries and Glenn wants to have a look at Joe in action," McIlroy told the Lancashire Evening Post.
"It is a big disappointment because Joe has done exceptionally well for us.
"I have no doubt that Joe has a big future in the game and he will play at the very top."
