Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has swooped for former Huddersfield Town defender Danny Adams. Adams, 30, has agreed a deal until the end of the season after being released by Huddersfield last month.
The left-sided player previously played under McIlroy at Stockport County after signing from Macclesfield.
Adams could make his Conference debut in Saturday's clash at Forest Green with Morecambe's defensive resources stretched by injury and suspension.
