Former West Brom defender Pele has agreed non-contract terms with Milton Keynes Dons.

The 32-year-old was named among the substitutes for the Dons' 2-1 win over Walsall on Saturday.

The Cape Verde international impressed during a trial spell with Karl Robinson's side after being released by Scottish outfit Falkirk.

He came to England as a Southampton player in 2006, playing 44 times before joining Albion 12 months later.

The Portugal-born centre-half made 28 appearances for the West Midlands club as they won promotion to the Premier League.

He was released in the summer of 2009 after playing five times as the Baggies were relegated.
