Dobson joined the Dons from Stevenage Borough in January 2008

MK Dons have terminated the contract of midfielder Craig Dobson by mutual consent.

The 24-year-old initially joined the Dons on an 18-month contract, but has only made one start since January 2008.

Groin and shin injuries have sidelined Dobson for long periods and he joined Wycombe on loan in November.

Chairman Pete Winkelman told BBC Three Counties Radio: "Injury stopped him coming into contention, it's probably right that he gets a fresh start."
