Dunne believes Millwall can push for promotion next season
Millwall right back Alan Dunne has agreed a new one-year contract with the League One club.
The deal helps manager Kenny Jackett in his goal to keep the side together which narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship via the play-offs.
Dunne, 26, told the club website: "I'm delighted to be staying and I'm looking forward to next season already.
"Losing the play-off final was a big disappointment but we're setting our sights on automatic promotion now."
Dunne is the latest player at the club to agree a new deal, with Jackett moving quickly to secure his futures of the nucleus of his squad.
Millwall are also to complete the signing of Brighton goalkeeper John Sullivan next month.
Sullivan signed professional forms in 2005, making his debut in October 2008 in a 3-2 win against champions Leicester City.
The 21-year-old went on to make a further 12 appearances, including in a 4-1 win over the Lions in a league game in November 2008.
He said: "It is a great chance to come to a big club like Millwall that should be in the Championship.
"Hopefully, next year, we can try and have another go at getting back to that level."
