Senda picked up his knee injury on the final day of last season
Millwall right-back Danny Senda will not play this season after undergoing a third operation on a knee injury.
It was hoped the 27-year-old, who has not played since last season because of the injury, would be fit to feature in the League One side's promotion push.
However he has had to have another operation on a recurring knee problem.
Physio Bobby Bacic told the club's website: "Hopefully this latest surgery will solve the problem once and for all. But he won't play this season."
Bacic explained: "He hadn't been experiencing any pain, but the knee was swelling up once he got back into full training which indicated something was clearly wrong.
"In layman's terms Danny has had a wash-out to get rid of some small debris."
Senda picked up the injury on the last day of last season, after scoring the opening goal in what was eventually a 2-1 defeat at Swindon.
