Hackett is keen to repay Millwall's faith in him

Millwall's Chris Hackett has signed a new six-month contract with the club.

The 25-year-old winger missed a large part of last season after damaging his cruciate knee ligaments in the 1-1 draw with Gillingham last October.

He told the club's website: "I've had a lot of support from the management, fans and players and now I want to pay that back by performing for Millwall.

"I am confident that things are looking up here and that we can be successful next season."
