Millwall boss Nigel Spackman was left rueing injuries to two key players on Tuesday, after the Lions were defeated 2-0 by local rivals Leyton Orient. Striker Darren Byfield and defender Maurice Ross both picked up knocks.
Spackman told the club's website: "Darren was taken to hospital after hearing a crack in his ankle but we don't know how serious it is yet."
Millwall's problems were compounded later in the game when Ross pulled a hamstring although he played on.
The Lions have also confirmed they will appeal against the red card given to defender Tony Craig just four minutes into Tuesday's match.
