Millwall assistant boss Ray Wilkins has revealed he will leave the club as soon as a replacement for departed manager Dennis Wise is appointed. Wilkins told the club's website: "I confirmed to chairman Jeff Burnige that I have no interest in taking the manager's job here.
"I will depart when a new manager is appointed but I have promised to stay until that happens.
"I will give the new manager all the information I can about the squad."
Wise resigned as manager after the final game of the season on Sunday.
