The 23-year-old grabbed 28 goals last season to help the south London side to the Division Two title and has been sought after by a number of Premiership clubs. "Millwall are devastated to report that Neil Harris has been diagnosed with testicular cancer," said the statement. "He underwent surgery on Friday and we await the result of further tests. "We are hopeful that Neil will make a full recovery - but it is unlikely that he will play next season." The club added that Harris only found about the condition on Thursday. "Clearly this has come as a major shock to himself, his family, friends and all associated with Millwall," the statement continued. "We would ask that everyone respect Neil's need for privacy and understanding at this time." | See also: Other top Millwall stories: Links to more Millwall stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
