Young has made the right-back slot his own at Boro (PA) |
Middlesbrough defender Luke Young has urged his team-mates to forget Sunday's FA Cup exit and concentrate on securing the club's place in the Premier League. The 28-year-old was disappointed with the display against Cardiff and is determined to put a good run of form together in the Premier League.
"It's difficult to put Sunday's game out of your mind," he told BBC Tees.
"But if we're still sulking about it we'll lose points in the league. We need to stand up and be counted now."

The combatative full-back has picked up four bookings this season and admits the physical side of the game is something he enjoys.
"I think you need ten bookings now to get suspended, so I can go around and let loose a little bit," he smiled.
"You don't worry about the bookings too much to be honest."
Middlesbrough lie four points clear of the relegation zone. They play Aston Villa on Wednesday.
