Middlesbrough defender Tony McMahon's loan spell at Championship strugglers Blackpool looks to have come to a premature end due to injury. The 21-year-old joined the Seasiders on a one-month loan to regain full fitness after recovering from a broken leg.
But he limped out of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Southampton after just 10 minutes with a hamstring strain.
"We'll assess the injury but at the moment it's not looking good," said manager Simon Grayson.
