Boro teenagers backed with deals
Middlesbrough have handed new contracts to a quartet of promising youngsters.

Defender Seb Hines, 19, who scored on his debut in the 4-3 FA Cup third-round replay victory over Hull last season, has signed a two-year deal.

And fellow teenagers Graeme Owens, Rhys Williams and Jonathan Grounds have been given their first professional deals.

Winger Owens, 19, and Australian-born defender Williams, 18, have penned two-year deals and full-back Grounds, 19, has signed a 12-month contract.

Keeper David Knight, 20, has agreed a month-to-month deal with the club.
