McClaren relieved after victory
McCLAREN'S VIEW
Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren
Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren was only reasonably satisfied with his side's victory over West Brom.

"We knew coming to The Hawthorns to play Bryan Robson in his first match in charge of West Brom facing his old club was always going to be difficult.

"I was disappointed we came under pressure and we survived a bit at the end - I don't know how Kanu missed.

"After we got our second goal I thought we would kill the game off but we didn't and we rode our luck."
