Buxton questions Stags commitment

Mansfield Town skipper Jake Buxton has once again questioned his team-mates' work-rate and commitment.

The Stags are bottom of the Football League following Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Grimsby and Buxton told BBC Radio Nottingham he was not impressed.

The defender said: "I didn't think we competed. There were four or five players who ran their socks off and gave everything for the badge.

"But I thought there were six or seven who didn't do that."

He added: "We know we have the quality, flair players.

"But we're bottom of the league. I'd rather go out with 10 soldiers who are going to graft week in week out and get points on the board."
