Mansfield boss Billy Dearden has signed striker Ian Holmes for an undisclosed fee from Unibond Premier Division side Matlock Town. The 22-year-old front man has signed a one-year deal at Field Mill.
"I am delighted to have eventually signed. It was a long process, but it was worth the wait," Holmes told his new club's website.
"I've been training here for three to four weeks, I've loved it and I really get on with the lads."
