Park (left) is a crucial component of Manchester United's midfield
Midfielder Park Ji-sung has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Manchester United until 2012.
Park, 28, was a regular in United's 2008-09 winning Premier League season.
The South Korea international, who signed from PSV Eindhoven for £4m in 2005, has been a valuable option in manager Sir Alex Ferguson's midfield.
"I am so pleased to have a new contract," said Park. "We have achieved great success over the last four years and won many trophies."
He told the club's official website: "I appreciate all that Sir Alex and the staff have done for me, but I have to mention the fans too, as they are incredible.
"It is a great experience for me to play at this magnificent football club along with other world famous players."
Ferguson said during the summer that he was always confident a deal would be done with Park, whose wages are estimated to be about £65,000 a week.
