Manchester United have released young American striker Kenny Cooper. The 21-year-old arrived at Old Trafford in 2003 from Dallas Mustangs and has featured regularly for the United reserve side.
However, he was unable to force his way into the first team, although he did have a spell on loan at Oldham.
He becomes the third player to leave United in January following the departures of midfielder David Fox and Finnish forward Jami Puustinen.
